Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Open University, Research Associate at Oxford University
Tina Wallace is an honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Open University and a Research Associate at Oxford University, as well as an independent researcher and long-term consultant with NGOs working in development, particularly in Africa. She has been involved in training and evaluations on HIV/AIDS and gender for many years. Previously, she worked in teaching and development research in universities in Uganda (where she earned her PhD), Nigeria, and the UK. Published widely, she recently completed a book, The aid chain, on how aid disbursement adversely affects relationships between organisations in the global north and south. Dr Wallace worked at Oxfam for eight years, and has also worked with a range of major donors, advising on issues around good partnership development, gender, and good development practice.
